Research on the Dependence of the Friction Coefficient on the Friction Path at Deep Drawing with the Application of Process Lubricants

The results of experimental studies on the antifrictional properties of process lubricants in the blank holder area at deep drawing are outlined in this work. It's been established that the physicochemical nature of the applied lubricant impacts the pattern of dependence of the friction coefficient on the friction pattern. Implementation of the acquired dependencies in computer simulation of the drawing processes allows increasing the accuracy of forecasting the material breakings of blanks.

The results of the development and industrial testing of Rosoil-105 polyfunctional lubricant are demonstrated in the article. The lubricant complies with the key requirements for gear oils intended for the friction units of automatic cold upsetters and the requirements for process lubricants utilized at cold bulk stamping operations on carbon steels.
