This work proves the importance of researching the fibrous structure at products extrusion. The article outlines certain erroneous statements considering the forming of the current structure cited in popular works. The contributors formulated the sequence of correct analytic study of the fibrous structure.

Multilevel Models Applied for the Analysis of the Contact Interaction of Geometrically-Complex Bodies: Algorithms, Implementation and Applicability Analysis (continued)

The article describes an approach to the contact interaction analysis of geometrically-complex bodies, which represents a balanced combination of Hertz model, the boundary integral equations method and finite elements method. The example of the contact of a ball with a toroidal raceway illustrates the limits of applicability of various models.

Analysis of Workpieces Form Changing at the Drawing of Hemispherical Parts with the Application of Intermediate Deformed Media

Form changing of workpieces at the drawing of hemispherical parts with the application of elastic and yielding intermediate deformed media has been studied with the use of numerical simulation methods and experimentally. The article demonstrates the advantages of yielding media application for the production of shell parts of uniform thickness.

Influence of Compacting Pressure on the Lateral Pressure Coefficient of Wood Granules

Technique of the Automated Estimation of Reliability of Sheet Stamping Technological Process

Minimization of the Press Slide Misalignment and Tool Offset at Multi-Position Stamping

A solid model of the actuator of an automatic multi-position sheet-stamping press has been developed on the basis of mathematical modeling in finite element packages. A method of reducing the press slide misalignment and tool offset by the way of technological process improvement has been proposed.

Calculation of Servodrives Operating the Control Valves of Hydraulic Presses

The article outlines the schemes of control follower servodrives of forging and stamping hydraulic presses with remote control equipped with distributing shafts of rocking and cam types. Description of their construction and specifics of operation are given. The main calculating stages of servodrives of both types are revealed.
