Resource-saving technology of isothermal forging on the air of super heat-resistant alloys

In this article is considered the production process of nickel and titanium superalloys blanks of GTE disks by isothermal forging in air by using a fundamentally new technologies developed in the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «VIAM». There is established that this process increase stock utilization ratio, improving process performance compared to the existing manufacturing process similar to semi-finished products, reduced labor intensity and energy intensity of production.

Development and optimization of manufacturing technology by the method of isothermal deformation of the

blank of turbine wheel from the high heat-resistant alloy ЭП975-ИД with the use of computer simulation
The article presents the results of computer simulation in the software package QForm 3D in the development of the experimental-technological process of manufacturing the turbine wheel forming by a heat-resistant nickel-based alloy. The comparison of simulation results with experimental data is shown.

Process parameters for producing parts by cold stamping from sheet blanks made of heat-resistant alloys ВЖ159, ВЖ171 and high heat-resistant alloy ВЖ171

There is investigated process parameters of cold forging, and the influence of annealing conditions on the ductility of sheet blanks of the weldable heat-resistant Nickel alloys VZH159 and VZH171, and high-strength weldable alloy VZH172 for the hot zone of the stator parts of gas turbine engines for aerospace engineering.

Structural transformations during hot processing of magnesium-doped aluminum alloys

The article presents features of structural phase transformations during hot forming and thermal threatment of aluminium alloys with magnesium as primary dope element. It is shown the influence of magnesium quantitative content and thermomechanical conditions of threatment on mechanism and kinetics of structural phase transformations in binary or more complicated doped alloys. The article substantiates necessity of hot forming processes realization considering structural phase influence on technological properties of deforming workpiece and functional properties of product.

Research of thermomechanical conditions while proceeding of thermal diffusion processes of softening in the nickel alloy ХН77ТЮР during isothermal deformation

There is presented the study of deformable nickel alloy CrNi77TiAlB using the article [4] in isothermal deformation at temperatures of 950 and 1000 °C with speeds 6•10–2, 2,5•10–3, 5•10–4 с–1 and the voltage flow stress on the degree of reduction at different temperatures and strain rates, microstructure and x-ray samples.

Energy-efficient technology for producing long-length semifinished items by the method of isothermal extrusion from structural titanium alloys ВТ6, ВТ16

The technology of manufacture of long semi-finished products by isothermal extrusion of structural titanium alloys VT6, VT16 instead of cold drawing with multiple intermediate annealing is shown. The optimal technological parameters of isothermal extrusion (speed and temperature) are given that allow to find fine-grained structure regulated in the semis, reduce stress during compression, as well as to obtain an optimal combination of strength and ductility characteristics of the material.

Thermomechanical basis of isothermal deformation of metals in conditions of dynamic softening

The article considers processes with different dominant mechanisms of plastic deformation and different intensity of the flow of the thermally activated dynamic softening processes that occur simultaneously with plastic defomation.

Computer modeling in the development process of thixostamping

The comparative analysis shows that the results of computer calculations in specialized software can be used for design of the technological process of thixostamping with a high degree of adequacy. This will save a significant amount of metal and human labor costs when developing a new process of stamping.
