Influence of mechanical properties on the extreme possibilities of expansion of pipe billets with a conical punch

The expressions that allow determining the various stresses in the workpiece and changing the thickness of the workpiece during the expansion process are shown. On their basis the dependences of the influence of various technological parameters in combination with the anisotropy of the mechanical properties of the workpiece on the magnitude of the critical expansion coefficient and the relative thickness of the workpiece are obtained.

Stress-strain state of the workpiece during pneumoforming of elements of multilayer sheet structures with rectangular channels made of aluminum alloys

The process of pneumoforming of elements of multilayer sheet structures with rectangular channels made of aluminum alloys is considered. On the basis of the mathematical model, the dependences of the change in the equivalent stress and the radius of the median surface on the time of deformation for an aluminum AMg alloy are constructed, whose behavior is described by the energy theory of creep and damping for viscous flow. Comparison of theoretical and experimental data on the geometric dimensions of manufactured products indicates a satisfactory agreement.

Influence of the time of deformation on the degree of matrix filling during constrained forming of cellular panels

On the basis of theoretical calculations, based on the previously developed mathematical model, the dependences of the change in the zone of contact between the workpiece and the matrix on the time of deformation with the simultaneous determination of the damageability of the material of the billet in its different parts are established.

Technique of designing multistage stamping technology of conical gabled areas on the cylindrical workpieces

A method for determining the number of forming operations and the size of the intermediate semi-finished products in the multistage punching of conical gabled areas on the cylindrical workpieces is developed. It is based on the experimental results obtained by the slip lines and takes into account the different components of deformability of the material. The result of using this technique is the reduction of technological operations, improvement and equalization of mechanical characteristics throughout the deformable volume.

Variational evaluation of the regime of plane radial extrusion

Kinematic ratios and dependences for calculation of pressure and damageability of material at extrusion of a thickening on a flat and cylindrical blankts are received. The condition of the hot deformed material is accepted visco-plastic. The energy method of calculation is used in relation to the discontinuous flat velocity field of displacements. Minimization of pressure is made by a variation of the power.

Evaluation of powerful parameters of metal spinning of box-like products according to the scheme «convex square – square»

In the work the model of metal spinning of box-like products according to the scheme «convex square – square» is shown. Using this model, the influence of the velocity of the punch moving, the friction conditions on the tool, and the pressure on the drawing force on the drawing force are obtained. The influence of the mechanical properties of the prefor, and in particular the anisotropy on the strength of the process is revealed.

Determination of power parameters on the following operation of the exhaust with denition and intensive plastic deformation

A technique is proposed for determining the power parameters for stretching with thinning through a matrix with a smooth working belt of the workpiece with an external corrugated surface obtained by drawing a thinning through a die having wedges along the perimeter of the working belt. Such a technological process makes it possible to obtain an intense plastic deformation with significant shear deformations and a fine-grained structure of the finished part. To determine the correctness of calculations using the proposed methodology, a mathematical simulation of the process was performed using the QForm software package, which showed satisfactory convergence of the results.

Stamping of a conical shaped-charge liners of small caliber from measuring rod blanks

The article describes the process of obtaining a conical shaped-charge liners small caliber stamping dimensional workpieces with tapered lead-in part for one transition. The evaluation of the stress-strain state of the material, temperature and damage in the process of forming. The influence of temperature stamping on the power parameters of the process. It is shown that an increase in the temperature of the preheating of the tool makes it possible to reduce the force of the pressing process of the cladding by 1,5 ...1,6 times. At the same time, preheating the billet practically does not affect the power parameters of the process. This is due to the fact that the mass of the workpiece is smaller in comparison with the mass of the tool, so the determining factor of the process is the preheating temperature of the tool.
