Stress state of a workpiece in the combined process of reduction–mandrelling

The stress state of the workpiece in the deformation region and the deforming force that must be created for the implementation of the combined process of of mandrelling–reduction are defined. Calculation of the temperature of heating of asperities during plastic deformation and the method of heating reduction

The article presents the calculation of the heating temperature of asperities of the surfaces of workpiece and tool in the processing of metals by pressure. It is shown that in certain conditions the heating temperature may exceed the melting point of the material that can cause sticking. recommendations for reducing of the heating temperature are Provided.

Method of calculation of power parameters in the Assembly-welding mill line TESA 1420 for production of large diameter welded pipes

The peculiarities of the process of a tube blank forming on the TESA 1420 line for the production of welded large diameter pipes for main production areas are shown. The study of the process of deformation of billets on the welding and fabricating mill of JCO press with the peculiarities of the mechanism of аssembly on the edge profile of the workpiece in a cross-section deformation of the mill is presented. Schematic diagram of the force distribution along the contour of the workpiece in the assembly on the welding and fabricating mill and diagram of the fitting of the workpiece in the theoretical circle or oval at a fixed start points of the stepper sections are considered.

Acting moments and forces from the roller mill beams on the profile of the workpiece for ensuring the specified displacements of the points of steps for the width of the model and full dock edges for welding are incorporated in the work. The technique for determining the parameters of the welded workpiece after welding of the edges and exit of the workpiece from the mill is shown. An experimental study of the process of forming on a plot of the welding and fabricating mill confirm the correctness of the methodology

Mandrels wear features of screw rolling mill of tra 159-426 during piercing of large diameter uninterruptedly-casted billets

Research results of mandrels wear of screw rolling mill of TRA 159-426 are given here under. Dependence between wear part of the mandrels and number of rolled uninterruptedly-casted billets of 340 mm and 410 mm diameter was revealed. It was determined the dependence of material resistance change of piercing mandrels due to the number of rolled billets.

A hollow part with an eccentric for diesel engines

The article undergoes the process of extrusion of hollow parts like «Eccentric» for high-pressure pump diesel engine. The simulation is performed in finite element system V8 QForm of extrusion process with different size heads eccentric. Reference data and simulation results are shown.

Method for determination of appropriate strain rate for isothermal deformation of blanks from titanium alloys

A method for determination of appropriate strain rate for isothermal deformation of VT3-1 titanium alloy is received. Theoretical researches results of contact area heating influence on forming tools endurance are presented. Dependence of forgings relative high on isothermal deformation strain rate is studied.
