Investigation of the extrusion of a cylindrical billet through a matrix with a square hole. Determination of the kinematic and stress states

Using the theory of plastic flow of the method of A. L. Vorontsov all necessary formulas required to calculate the voltages and power parameters of the extrusion process or a compression of the cylindrical workpiece through a matrix with a square hole are received.

Modeling of the process of composite products obtaining by plastic deformation on the basis of gradient blank heating

A hybrid hierarchical model of the processes of assembly of metal blanks by plastic deformation and shaping of composite products based on gradient heating of blanks is designed. The model is implemented by a four-module optimization algorithm for the search for rational technological parameters that ensure the increased efficiency of the processes of obtaining composite products.

Study of the process of manufacturing hub type forgings on horizontal forging machines from thick-walled pipes with a significant upset degree

The process of manufacturing forgings of the hub type on horizontally-forging machines from thick-walled pipes with a significant upset degree is investigated. The simulation of this process is implemented. The plastic flow of material in the cavity of the stamp creek is analyzed and recommendations on the design of punches for upset of thick-walled pipes are given.

Accuracy increasing of the pipe billets during pressing by the reverse method

There is shown analysis of known methods by pressing walled tube blanks, including the use of standard extrusion presses, which do not provide acceptable accuracy workpieces due to non-compliance centering, i.e. misalignment of the container and a punch and wear of the inside surface of the container working sleeve, causing the nonaxisymmetric outflow. Нorizontal adjustment tool of a hydraulic press which significantly increase the accuracy and reduce the variation in the tube blanks for the manufacture of casting molds and shirts filler molds for semi-continuous casting of ingots is developed and tested.
