Investigation of the reliability of the prediction by the finite element method of the main parameters of the plastic deformation process on the example of extrusion of a cylindrical glass.

Part 1. Actuality of the topic

The urgency of carrying out an objective verification of the modeling results of real processes of plastic deformation by using finite element method is substantiated. The foundations of the method and sources of possible calculation errors are briefly formulated.

Keywords: finite element method; voltage; deformation; plastic; elasticity; stamping extrusion.

Investigation of strain hardening under combined rotary pressure treatment

The results of theoretical studies of the strain hardening of AMg6 alloy are presented in the article. To eliminate the uneven-strength and non-optimal parts by mass, a new method for rotational drawing has been developed. It makes possible to obtain zones hardened by plastic deformation on sheet billets. According to the developed method, in the central zone of the blank with freely rotating rollers local depressions are created, the shape and dimensions of which are determined by the required degree of hardening, technological parameters and mechanical properties of the material. A comparison is made between two methods of creating corrugation. It is revealed that the hardening by projection differs from the hardening by forming by a more even distribution of the mechanical parameters of the material with a lesser degree of accumulated deformation.

Keywords: shear forming; strain hardening.

Physical simulation of the process of workpiece forming for the production of welded pipes according to the JCOE scheme

One of the most common ways of large diameter pipes production is the JCOE method. The edge presses bend the edges on the original sheet blank, then the sheet with the bent longitudinal edges is fed to the step-forming press where the main part of the workpiece is molded into the O-shaped profile. In the National University of Science and Technology «MISIS» а laboratory for metal pressure treatment is created, which includes experimental equipment for physical modeling of pipe production processes. The laboratory has a section of discrete tube forming with a press of 100 KN, which allows modeling the processes of forming large diameter pipes in two ways: UOE, JCOE. This experimental work on the stages of the shaping of the tube billet for a pipe Ø 40×1 mm is performed in this laboratory by the JCOE method. The analysis of geometrical parameters of the profile of the workpiece under load and after springing is given.

Keywords: JCOE method; hydraulic press; discrete shaping; pipes of large diameter; welded pipe; the center of deformation; physical modeling.

Deep drawing of hollow parts with intentional corrugation

The technological possibilities of the process of pulsating spinning of hollow parts from sheet materials are given, its low productivity is noted. In the development of this process an oscillatory spinning process and a specialized high-productivity press are proposed.
Keywords: pulsating, vibrational spinning

Optimization of an air-driven pneumatic hammer

The article describes optimization of the drive pneumatic hammer in order to improve the design and reduce energy consumption during its operation. Optimization is carried out at mathematical modeling in the environment of the program complex of the analysis of dynamic systems PA9. At the same time, it became possible to reduce the material consumption of the structure.
Keywords: hammer; electric power; mathematical modeling; optimization.

Modeling of the bending process of a three-layer aluminum-polymer composite with the use of the software complex ANSYS LS-DYNA

The process of three-point bending of a three-layer sandwich panel based on alloy 1420 and polyethylene-propylene interlayer using the software complex ANSYS LS-DYNA is studied. It is considered the case of a bending on an angle of 90° with a roller with a diameter of 12 mm with a proporsion 47 % in the polymer component and 57 % in a metal part. Computer simulation shows a springing angle of 11 %, which is in good agreement with the results of full-scale tests showing a springing angle at the rate of about 12 %.
Keywords: modeling; bending; aluminum-polymer composite; equivalent stresses; deformation; springing.

Learning organization as a way of solving personnel problems

The article studies the issues of the need to create a learning organization in the context of conditions of environmental instability and the concept of education throughout life. It is revealed, why and in what direction the companies need to be transformed in order to remain competitive, which hinders the construction of the training company, the influence of unskilled personnel. In this context, modern factors that contribute to higher labor productivity are highlighted, and an algorithm for organizational changes is proposed, which is a complex system of measures aimed at creating a learning organization and increasing the company's adaptability. The authors used the methods of strategic planning, management theory, factor analysis, as well as synthesis, induction, deduction and systematization.
