Investigation of the reliability of the prediction by the finite element method of the main parameters of the plastic deformation process on the example of extrusion of a cylindrical glass.
Part 4. Modeling of metal flow with several degrees of freedom

The results of modeling the finite element method of geometric results for extrusion of metal with the possibility of simultaneous flow in different directions are obtained and analyzed, and general conclusions on this cycle of articles are made.
Keywords: finite element method; deformation; plasticity; elasticity; stamping.

Study analysis of the kinematics of metal displacements in the process of the solid hot sediment of the full tube details in the closed stamp

In the process of hot volumetric deposition of long cylindrical parts such as bushings, there is a high probability of occurrence of surface defects in the form of clamps on the forgings. Therefore it is important to know the possible variants of metal trajectories at different stages of the deformation process.
Keywords: hot sinking; plastic deformation; long-length hob; stamp; radial displacement; kinematics of metal movement.

Calculation of individual drive power of rollers of a leveler

The article presents is a refined methodology for calculating the power of an electric motor for the individual drive of a leveler. The example of calculation of the electric motor of an individual drive of a roller of a thirteen-roller leveler UBR 10-2000 is given. The moment spent for frictional losses in bearings while the sheet is transported along the leveler, the time spent on slipping the sheet on the rollers and the total torque are found. For the calculated moments, an electric motor ARM 73-16 is selected.
Keywords: editing of thick steel sheets; leveler; calculation of the electric motor power of the individual roller drive of the leveler.

Influence of small additives on extrusion of workpieces from powder composites based on iron

Experimental research of the cold extrusion process green compacts from powder composites based on vanadium-bearing iron powder allows to determine the influence of composition on the minimum density of the briquettes to ensure the integrity of the billet after extrusion. The connection between the cohesion in the powder material and possibility of the occurrence of defects and fracture during extrusion was made.
Keywords: powder composite; extrusion; density; reduction.

Sequence of form change in the operation of the deep drawing of thin-walled blank with hole

The process of sheet metal forming of a part of an axisymmetric shape is analyzed in the article by using a 3D approach of the boundary value problem. This allows tracing the possibility of corrugation under different boundary conditions. The loading during stamping is modeled by the finite element method using the Qform software. The distribution of the degree and rate of deformation is determined, and the conditions for the appearance of folds are revealed.
Keywords: deep drawing; finite element method; stresses; strains; deformation zone.

Basic properties and features of the technology of castings from cast iron EN-GJMB-700-2

The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic properties and characteristics of the technology of production of foundings from cast-iron EN-GJMB-700-2. Cast irons are the least expensive engineering materials, possess great fluidity and lower shrinkage in comparison with steel, so their use for the manufacture of body parts, complex shapes, parts with internal cavities.
Keywords: cast; casting; casting; melting.
