Experimental research and modeling of the pressing process of clamps of multiwire conductors from dissimilar materials by the pressure of a pulsed magnetic field

The results of the investigation of the processes of crimping tubular connectors on multiwire monometallic, bimetallic and combined wires with the pressure of a pulsed magnetic field are presented. Optimum regimes of force magnetic-pulse action are determined, which ensure high quality of the press connection. Specific features of deformation in obtaining connections from various materials of connecting bushings and wires are established.

Stress-strain of brass extrusion under variable heat transfer conditions

In the industrial experiment, the heating range from the heat of the ingots of the tooling used for pressing brass was determined. Two variants of tool operation were revealed: with a clean surface and metal adhering to it, the possible values of transmission factors for these two processing cases were determined. With the help of computer simulation, it was established that when the heat transfer coefficients change by approximately one order of magnitude, no noticeable changes in the distribution of the strain in the finished product are observed. However, a possible change in the field of strain rates and temperatures has been revealed, which may affect the passage of phase transitions in multiphase brasses.
