The evaluation of the maximum degree hood of cylindrical parts from the disk blanks with variable thickness

The ratio to evaluate the maximum degree of part extrusion of cylindrical shape based on the analytical solution of the equilibrium equations for the flange side of the disk sheet stock with a linear law of variation of the thickness is shown. The possibility to compensate polythickness along the generatrix pulling details the use of blanks with variable thickness.

Keywords: maximum degree hood; profiled billet; extrusion; polythickness.

The problem of forming a thick-walled elbows

The problem of manufacturing thick-walled elbows by hot bending process is considered. It is proposed the use of a special bending machine that has local heating of the workpieces, and a special stamp, which receive seamless tubular blanks for the process by the method of backward extrusion.

Keywords: bending; local heating; backward extrusion; seamless tubular blanks.

Press equipment and tools for the processes of pressing hard aluminum alloy with the active forces of friction

The article describes the modern design of horizontal hydraulic presses with hard hydraulic connection of mobile elements. Rod-shaped and tubular presses made under this scheme are intended for pressing of hard aluminum alloy with the active forces of friction. Based on the analysis a new constructive solution of press equipments to facilitate the process of pressing the action of friction forces with greater efficiency is provided.

Keywords: forces of friction; pressing; hydraulic press; equipment.

Implementation of failure criteria Baia-Wierzbicky in QForm during modeling the processes of cold deformation in conditions of deep drawing sheet of high strength steel

The paper presents research results and implementation of fracture prediction algorithm for a cold metal forming process simulation. Authors programmed the function for calculation of the criterion proposed by the scientists Bai and Wierzbicki. The function is developed for application in metal forming process simulation program QForm which is widely used in industry. Results of the simulation in QForm are compared with results of experiments.

Keywords: numerical simulation; QForm; fracture criterion; resource of plasticity; finite element method; sheet metal forming.

Numerical simulation of the introduction of the edge-shaped tool in a flexible environment

The influence of a cutting edge shape of a surgical tool on stress state formation in the deformation zone and strength parameters during penetration rigid tool into polyurethane plate up to destruction is investigated. The results of this research were obtained during finite element modeling in FEM-code ABAQUS.

Keywords: surgical tool; stress state; hyper elastic; finite element modeling.
