Improvement of methods of calculating stresses in tasks of flat plastic deformation

It is developed the method of the stress state analysis in the problems of flat plastic deformation for areas with variable contact forces of friction, based on a layer-by-layer division of deformation contours of tangential stresses. With the use of a parabolic approximation of the conditions of plasticity are found solutions of the equilibrium equations of a plane problem for each layer. In relation to the process of precipitation rectangular strip analysis of stress distribution is made on the contact surface and on the height of the deformation zone.

Investigation of open die forging discs by upsetting with flat anvils in low power equipment

By the finite element method is made simulation of upsetting cylindrical billet by narrow flat anvils. Determined that during upsetting by narrow anvils the cross section of billet takes the shape of an oval and this requires additional allowances during design of forgings. To decrease value of the roundness deviation in cross section of billet was proposed the regimes of upsetting by narrow anvils. The experimental investigations on samples from lead was made. At the request of the enterprise «Ruspolimet» was made calculations of forging disc by upsetting with narrow anvils. The rational regime of forging which allows minimizing the shape deviations in cross section of billet was determined. Experimental confirmation of obtained numerical data was made.

Development of the process of forming thin-walled convex parts from conical blank

The article considers the method of forming thin-walled axisymmetric shells. This method based on the process of flanging and embossing processes and is implemented in the device with elastic element. In this work are presented experimental data and the analysis of the accuracy of the obtained details.

Opportunities of increasing of the deforming tool resistance in conditions of cyclic loading

The measures of basic technological influences for increasing of the stability of the deforming tool: internal cooling, «twisting» of the elements of ingot’s macrostructure, forging with macroshifts. The article describes the experimental data of the use of these technologies, as well as given their comparative analysis.

Simulation of the formation of the special disk tool on the stage of technological preparation of production on the example of spherical cutter

It is developed an automated subsystem of formation of the special disk tool. Within the module of mathematical modeling profile disk tool defined the algorithm and drafted the program of calculation of parameters of helical chip grooves and coordinates of points of the profile of the helical surface of the spherical cutter.

Elastic-viscoplastic material behavior in numerical simulations of processes of uniaxial compression, tension and pure shear

The paper considers the use of model elastic-viscoplastic behavior of the material «PEIRCE» during performing a finite-element simulation model of the deformation processes of cylindrical samples with uniaxial tension, compression and pure shear in the software packages ANSYS and ABAQUS.

The effect of preheating on structure and properties of wire from steel 90K with brass floor

There is shown the effect of preheating of the billet before thin drawing to obtain its optimal structure and mechanical properties before deformation. Experimental studies are conducted to determine the effect of different modes of preheating on the mechanical properties of the wire samples taking before thin drawing. It is established that changes in the mechanical properties from temperature is due to the increased dispersion of ferrite-cementite mixture and heterogeneity patterns
