Analysis of stress state during plastic flow of metal in a wedge-shaped channel

The developed method of analysis of the stress state during the material flow in wedge-shaped channel in the flat conditions of plastic deformation for sections with variable contact forces of friction, built on a layer-by-layer division of the deformation contours of the tangential stresses is shown in the article. Using the parabolic approximation of the conditions of plasticity a method of separation of variables in the equilibrium equations of a plane problem is suggested. Laws of change of the contact pressure, determined by the lengths of slip and stagnant zones backlog and the timing of the deformation are establshed.
Keywords: wedge-shaped channel; flat plastic deformation; contact stresses.

Analysis of discrete material seals during all-round pressure

This article is devoted to the analysis of discrete seals materials with full pressure, with the definition of impact magnitude exerted full pressure on the density of billets, taking into account the geometrical dimensions and shape of the powder particles. To conduct a qualified analysis created a mathematical model of forming particles. For articles, the particles of powder which can be schematically represented as spherical, provides an analytical dependence between the density and size of full pressure, which is implemented in the course of hydro-and gas-static material processing. The resulting dependence revealed satisfactory accuracy when compared with the experimental data for a range of materials including stainless steels.
Keywords: powder, discrete materials; pressure; density; strength; compaction of powder materials.

Study of granule-morphological composition of graphitoplast compositions and their high speed compaction

The results of experimental studies of granule-morphological composition on the alpaga 500 nano device (Belgium) with the program Callisto and the status of graphitoplast compositions containing from 71 to 100 % graphite and 14 % ligament are shown in the article. In an electron microscope Tescan Vega photos, allowing to evaluate the size, shape and homogeneity of the particles of the composition are made. On high-speed gas-hydraulic press HYP35-18 (Sweden) at speeds of 1.10–3.58 m/s, tower copra system the CEAST 9350 (USA) at speeds of 3.00–4.60 m/s and Koper SUSU (Russia) at speeds of 3.00–6.00 m/s investigations of the process of compaction of compacts are performed. In an electron microscope Jeol JSM-7001F the microstructure and elemental composition of the phases of compacts are investigated.
Keywords: granule-morphological structure; graphitoplast compositions; high velocity compaction; microstructure.

Improvement of technique of designing of extrusion technology products from complicated-deform aluminum alloys by creating a mathematical regression models

It is presented the improvement of technique of designing of extrusion technology products from complicated-deform aluminum alloys. The article presents the results of complex mathematical modelling studies of the direct, inverse and the process of pressing with the action of friction forces in the environment of a qform in the range of all possible modes of pressing, which allows to obtain a mathematical regression model, reflecting the influence of main technological parameters of the process and method of pressing on the temperature of the product, the pressing force and the substructure of the resulting profile and create the algorithm for the development of optimized technological process of pressing.
Keywords: pressing; modeling; mathematical model; QForm; complicated-deform aluminum alloys.

Modeling in program complex Deform-3D of combined process of extrusion under conditions of low temperature superplasticity

It is studied the ability to perform process simulation of die forging in superplastic conditions with the help of program complex Deform-3D. As example, consider the operation of the combined extrusion of complex profile part from ultrafine-grained titanium alloy VT6. The causes of error in the simulation of forging processes in superplasticity are demonstrated. It is defined that the problem can be solved by extension of the database material.. It is revealed that for the correct modeling of deformation processes using state of the superplasticity it is necessary to use experimental curves of deformation obtained for a given material with a given microstructure at a given temperature, in a wide range of strain rates. The result of simulation is close to the value of the force of deformation, the error is only 8 %. The model of forging geometry corresponds to the real one.
Keyword: modeling; Deform-3D; extrusion; superplasticity; titanium alloy.
