Description of Deformations at Analysis of Processes of Metals Working by Pressure. Part 2. Revelation of Areas with Different Strained Condition

Problems of determination of deformed state of a blank and regard of strengthening by methods of applicable theory of plasticity are considered. New solutions of tasks of determination of deformed state of the blank in the process of upsetting and indentation into half-space are represented.

A.V. Method of Forecasting of Damage of Steel Blanks at Cold Forming

Methods of analysis of damage of steel blanks in multipass technological processes of cold forming have been developed. The methods are based on application of results of standard mechanical tests and finite-elements simulation of stress-strain state of a processed blank.

Intensive, Megaplastic and Pseudo-Megaplastic (Meso) Deformation

It is shown that each scaled level of plastic deformation at metals processing by pressure corresponds to its own level of grained structure, starting from initial dendritic (mega) structure of an ingot and finishing with nanomicrocrystal (meso [m–n]) structure of a forging achieved by methods of severe plastic deformation. At this relative deformation changes within the range 0 < ? < 1.

Comparison of Bending Processes with Stretching with Forces Control and Displacement Control

Modernization of an analytical solution of the task of bending blanks with stretching on a automatic section-bending machine is offered. Comparison of processes of forming by bending with extrusion with forces and displacement control with consideration of variance of sizes of section-shaped blanks is drawn.

Dynamic Stability of Throttle Adjusting Valves of Hydraulic Presses Control Systems

Lubricant for Hot Forming of Tubes of Alumina Alloys

Shortcomings of lubricants applied at extrusion tubes from alumina alloys on a movable mandrel have been analyzed. A new technological lubricant allowing prevention of metal pick-up, raising quality of products and tool wear resistance has been developed and introduced at Company "Алкоа-СМЗ”.

Methods of Tests for Contact Friction in Processes of Metals Working by Pressure

Feasibility demonstration and description of a simple method of tests for contact friction in processes of metals working by pressure are presented. The method is suitable for use in a factory laboratory and allows getting reliable experimental data for technological analysis of processes of specific materials processing.
