Experimental study of the process of compacting chips using a combined method of pressing with torsion

Performed an experimental study of the process of compacting chips using a combined method of pressing with torsion. There are carried out evaluation of the effectiveness of the new process compared of conventional compression on the data obtained by measuring the density and hardness of copper and aluminum alloys chip-brick.

Strain hardening considerations in technological calculations relating to the sheet blank bending in roll-forming mashine rolls

There are given models and calculation procedures to determine stresses, bending moments and springback angles when the sheet blank is bent to a small radius in rolls.

Identification of rational forms of sheet bars for rotary drawing

The process of forming sheet bar for rotary drawing is investigated. It is established that forming on the cone reduces a lot the area of contact of billet with roller, decreases the axial tensile stress and increases the number of suitable axially symmetrical parts after rotary drawing.

The shape control of the square billet in upsetting

Disc manufacturing method by cutting sheet on square billets with subsequent upsetting is investigated. Calculation of strain state by finite element method is carried out. Hindered deformation zones are identified. Experiments in terms of sediment square billets made. Parameters of friction and deformation, allowing the transition from the square cross section in circular cross-section revealed.

Features of the sheet metal forming of metal-base laminate materials

The results of the study the formability of aluminum alloy sheets side coated polyvinyl chloride film (PVC) technology and deep drawing of the bearing bushes of metal-base laminate. The peculiarities of stamping of metal-base laminate materials that need to be considered in the development process and design of die tooling.

The pipe reduction with combining static and dynamic loadings in terms of machine-building production

The technological scheme of the combined process of reduction of pipe billets with combining static and dynamic loadings is described; the construction and operation of the device, implementing the proposed technology, with the self-adjusting holder of drawing die and equipped with the inductor for pulse-magnetic processing are presented; the results of sampling of this device are given; the advantages of the suggested technical solutions are estimated.
