Research of approximate method to calculating state of strain in the drawing process of asymmetric parts

The article deals with the approximate method of calculating strain state in drawing processes of asymmetric part. Result of compare calculating and experiment data is given. The calculated and experimental values have good agreement, indicating the correctness of assumption associated with the almost constant thickness of the workpiece S during the hood. An approximate calculation of strain state in asymmetric process of drawing on the tapered workpiece in the manufacture of fairings is in satisfactory agreement with the experimental results.

Evaluation of the susceptibility of cold-hardening of the metal in compression tests

The study of stresses in forgings of turbine and compressor disks

Results of research of tension are given in metal when forging turbine and compressor disks. In the result, some regularities of distribution of stresses are established in the distillation of disks with different geometric ratios of different metals. These results can be used in forging practice

Investigation of strains and voltages arising at two-angle bending in a die with elastic plate

The article is devoted to the study of elastic properties of stamping equipment, in particular, to bending process of sheet material. The research developed a model of the stamp with an elastic plate that allows you to make the process of two-angle bending more technologically flexible and economically profitable. This stamp is suitable for bending angle 90° 90°-? and does not account for the thinning of the fabricated workpiece in the zone of bending. In the current work the scheme of two-angle bending in a die with elastic plate is proposed, results of elastic stringiness angle simulation in software DEFORM-2D are analyzed. To assess the conditions of the process are considered field distributions of stresses and strains on the amount of plate in the beginning, in the middle and at the end of deformation. Tests are shown that the stresses in the bar and the workpiece have the allowable level for the material from which they are made. Plastic deformation takes place actively in the blank and not in the bar.

Finite element modeling of superplastic forming of circular membrane

The comparison of two different approaches as to the computer modeling of superplastic forming is fulfilled. First approach is based on the formulation of the boundary value problem in the mechanics of superplastic flow in terms of the theory of creep. The second approach includes the model of viscoplasticity suggested by Perzyna. The same technological process of superplastic forming a sheet into a circular die is used for fulfilling the calculations by using FEM-code ANSYS.

Increasing of deformability of workpieces made of alloy Al-31 due to friction parameters

Technique of separate assessment of deformation forces, friction forces and normal loading at deforming samples from different metals and alloys by the use of roller die was proposed. Research results on assessment of deformation forces, friction forces, friction coefficients, scoring, microhardness and surface roughness at deforming AD-31 aluminum alloy workpieces at using different lubricants were represented.
