Formation of mechanical properties of parts in the processing of extended extrusion

The analysis of non-monotonic process of extended extrusion and its calculation on the separate stages of deformation are made. The obtained results allow to estimate the stress-strain state of the material, the accumulated deformation and energy parameters of the process. The proposed method solves the problem by evaluating the plastic state of the metal in non-monotonic processes of finite deformation. The analysis of the process of extended extrusion allows us to estimate the limiting state of the material during the various stages of the deformation process.
Keywords: complex loading; non-monotonic deformation; extended extrusion.

Magnetic-pulse attraction of thin-walled metals technology for straightening of vehicle bodies

It is shown the theoretical analysis of electrodynamic processes and justified the basic functionality of «inductor system with attractive screen» with the external magnetic field excitation of a circular single-turn solenoid, as an effective instrument of magnetic-pulse attraction of specified sections of thin-walled sheet metals. Calculations of characteristics of induction and power performance of the proposed design of system with the external magnetic field source are completed with simulation. Also the results of successful testing of the system in actual production operations on external contactless removal of dents in samples of body covering passenger cars are given. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed fundamentally new progressive way of straightening of thin-walled sheet metals with the ability to save the protective coatings.
Keywords: magnetic pulse treatment of metals; induction inductor system; field strength; induced current density; electromagnetic processes.

Specificity of destruction of adhesion bonds at the boundaries of elements of inhomogeneous structures obtained by deformation of the crystallized alloy

The results of experimental research of influence of parameters of the process of producing reinforced metal construction in terms of concurrently of flowing solidification and plastic deformation of the aluminum alloy matrix on the strength of its coupling with steel core. From the experimental results it is constructed the dependence of the failure stress from different factors. It is established that upon receipt of the inhomogeneous structure of the crystallized alloy with plastic deformation on the surface of the reinforcing element average shear stress on 22...47 % higher than in the casting. In addition, when production samples are heterogeneous structure deformation crystallizing aluminum alloy shrinkage defects of origin is not manifest.
Keywords: stamping in the crystallization process; the adhesive bond of dissimilar alloys; heterogeneous construction

Deforming processes and equipment for production of titanium thin-walled profiles

The analysis of the known processes of pressing and calibration of titanium thin-walled profiles are given in the article. It is included a historical summary of the development of these processes. The basic scheme of obtaining of titanium profiles pressing existing in Russia are described and their phasing rationale, the advantages and disadvantages are shown. In addition, It is presented the results of research and development of new ways of rolling and calibration of thin-walled titanium profiles, as well as the design of mills with multiroller concruction. It is marked all the advantages, the positive and negative aspects of this ways.
Keywords: extrusion; calibration; titanium; thin profile; rolling mill; multiroller concruction.

Method of analysis of the coercive force with technical diagnosis of power components of forging equipment

The article reviews possibilities of magnetic methods of non-destructive control (in particular of measurem ent of coercive force) for determination of damageability and remaining life of strength members of press-forging equipment. Mathematical models for determination of coercive force in constructional steels have been recommended. Full-scale experiment which has been carried out confirms adequacy of recommended models to true values of coercive force in metals. The data presented in the article can be used at examination of technical condition of strength members of press-forging equipment, in particular before modernization, at planning periods of stoppages of machines for maintenance and repairs.
Keywords: magnetic methods; coercive force; Schaeffler diagram; strength members of press-forging equipment.
