Rational design of automated adjustable dies for small-batch multi-nomenclature products of the «flat washer» type

In this article, a design was developed for a universal automated die with a quick-release tool for punching-punching three-layer seals having metal and elastic (intercalated thermally expanded graphite) layers. A cyclogram of the movement of its moving units and mechanisms has been constructed.
Keywords: changeable dies; multi-product production; automatic feeding; blanking; punching.

Forecasting the resource of spiroid transmissions by the criterion of limit wear

The article provides a brief description of the reasons for the failure of machine drives based on gearing gears, as well as worm-class gears, as a result of their operation and the action of contact loads on the active surfaces of the teeth of the gear wheels, which leads to malfunctions, breakdowns, failures in the form of wear, scuffing , abrasion. The existing method of calculating endurance, taking into account the variability of loads and the number of cycles of their action on contact endurance and endurance of teeth in bending, used in strength calculations of spur and helical cylindrical gears, is described, and an analysis of methods for assessing the resource of gears is presented. The necessity of creating a method for assessing the resource according to the condition of the limiting wear of spiroid gears, taking into account the stepwise mode of action of the loads on the output shaft of the gearbox, has been substantiated. The presented method for predicting spiroid gears by wear makes it possible to take into account the stepwise loading regime of the drives of hoisting-and-transport machines. And using the experimentally obtained dependence of the wear rate of the teeth of the spiroid wheel on the values of the torque at the output shaft of the spiroid gearbox, calculate the resource of the spiroid gear taking into account the equivalent torque.
Keywords: wear; wear rate; spiroid gear; equivalent torque.

Temperature distribution in a body of elliptic section with an internal heat source with adiabatic insulation of a surface half

The processes of heat transfer and the resulting mass transfer play an important role today both in the technical sphere and in nature. The temperature regime of the environment directly depends on this group of processes. In addition, this process group defines the workflow in various types of technological installations. An impressive layer of work has been devoted to the study of heat exchange processes. In particular, works describing modern heat exchange elements of heat exchange equipment with a detailed description of the method of their manufacture, as well as control of a heat exchanger with a variable heat exchange surface area are of particular scientific interest. However, the temperature distribution in an elliptical body with an internal heat source with adiabatic insulation of half of the surface has not been sufficiently studied. This article discusses the question of finding the temperature field in an elliptical body with internal heat release. In this case, the boundary conditions are boundary conditions of the third kind in the case of adiabatic isolation of half of the surface. In this paper, we present a solution to the distribution of the temperature field in a body with an elliptical cross section under boundary conditions of the third kind. The solution was obtained for the case of adiabatic isolation of half of the wall in the elliptical coordinate system.
Keywords: heat transfer; temperature field; elliptical cross-section; boundary conditions of the third kind.

A genetic algorithm for estimating preheat numbers for forging shafts on presses

The paper describes a concept of solving the problem of calculating the number of intermediate preheats of workpieces during press shaft forging that cannot be formalized. Based on gathering and processing statistical information, factors influencing the problem solution are selected and the significance of selected factors are estimated. Correlative and probabilistic dependences of intermediate preheat number on weight and stage number of the forging are determined. A genetic algorithm for calculating the number of intermediate preheats of workpieces is developed. The algorithm has the property of automatic self-adjustment to the real production situation.
Keywords: shaft forging; number of preheats; genetic algorithm.

Using the Transformer model and its versions for solving problems of language modeling and machine translation

This article is devoted to the issue of using the Transformer model and its versions for solving problems of industrial automation, language modeling and machine translation. The main advantages of the versions, which are clarified as a result of a comparative analysis, are considered. The described solutions significantly simplify the natural language processing process. For each solution, a characteristic and analysis of further prospects of use is given.
