Combined drawing of sheet anisotropic material

Relationships are proposed for calculating the kinematics, specific force and changes in the continuity of a deformable material during combined drawing. The state of the hot material is assumed to be viscoplastic. The energy calculation method was used. The continuity of the material is determined based on the equations of the kinetics of damage. Calculated and experimental data are presented.

Automatic placement of objects in KOMPAS-3D using the Python programming language

This article discusses the solution to the problem of developing 3D-objects in the KOMPAS-3D program without much time and resources. The approach described in the article shows a software solution and optimization of actions through Python, where the user can select the 3D-object he needs with parameters. This program can be used in any organization to facilitate the process of developing a 3D-object.

Possibility of self-installation of cylindrical wheels with arched teeth

Axial self-installation of gears is often noted as one of the advantages of cylindrical wheels with arched teeth. The article shows that self-installation is possible only with significant displacements of the contact zone from the middle plane of the wheel. This corresponds to the operation of the transmission with the maximum permissible errors of the relative position of the links. The problem is solved by analytical methods, based on the geometry of the contact of the lateral surfaces of the teeth in the engagement.

Creation of a modern transport container for the transportation of uranium-containing materials by all types of transport, including air

The article discusses the creation of a modern transport container for the transportation of uranium-containing materials by all modes of transport, including air. High requirements are imposed on modern containers, first of all, to ensure reliable biological protection against ionizing radiation, to exclude the release of radioactive products into the environment, nuclear safety, to maintain tightness in emergency situations (fire, falling of a container from a carriage, falling of a container into water, etc.) and heat removal, which is provided by the heat conduction mechanism and natural heat dissipation in the environment. On the basis of a detailed three-dimensional finite element model, calculations of the transport packaging set (TUK) and load-handling devices under the action of loads arising in the process of lifting operations were performed.

Simulation of tests and computational justification of the structural strength of packaging

This article is devoted to the creation of a solid CAD model of the structure and the simulation of non-stationary dynamic deformation of a package under specified loading conditions. The maximum values of the main deformations of the packing elements, calculated for different scenarios of the fall, are given. Analysis of the calculation results shows that the maximum values of the main deformations in structural elements do not exceed the limiting values (relative elongation) of the corresponding materials and retain their strength.

Power factor improvement solution study for Lam Dong Aluminum Bauxite Power Plant (Vietnam) with SVC

This article discusses a method for improving the power factor by using an alternating voltage static compensation (SVC) device with a Fixed thyristor reactor Capacitor (FC-TCR) structure for the 6 kV electrical system of the Lam Dong Aluminum Plant, Vietnam. The electrical system of the plant, including 6 workshops from PD1 ... PD6, modeled in Matlab Simulink. Through practical analysis and simulation of the electrical system of the alumina plant in Lam Dong, Vietnam, it shows that the management and control of the production technology, the management of the electrical system of the plant is complex. There are also some problems, such as a low power factor due to an inefficient static compensation system on the 6 kV bus, harmonics due to non-linear loads on the 0.4 kV low voltage bus, which leads to a decrease in plant performance. In this article, we have implemented a power factor improvement solution to improve the quality of electricity, as well as improve the efficiency of equipment in the factory.

Reactive power compensation solution for a 6 kV bus electrical system

This article discusses the fixed capacitor control reactor (FCTCR) system used to control the opening and closing of the reactive power compensation system in a 3-phase 6 kv power system. A reactive power compensation system using FCTCR modeled on Matlab Simulink, the results of the study will then be applied to control the power compensation system of the Lam Dong bauxite aluminum mine in Vietnam. Research on operation technology, electrical systems, and electrical equipment in order to improve the working time of the plant, reduce the number of outages caused by incidents. Due to improper opening and lack of protective equipment, harmonic interference of non-linear load occurs, and the power factor of the power system fluctuates and decreases. Because of this, the entire power system operates at its highest power, which can lead to stability problems, voltage collapse and network failure.
