Distribution of the temperature field in a rectangular plate under boundary conditions of the first kind

Heat exchange processes play an important role today both in the technical sphere and in nature. To date, an impressive layer of work has been devoted to the study of heat exchange processes. In particular, works describing modern heat exchange elements of heat exchange equipment with a given law of temperature change of heat exchange surface points are of particular scientific interest. However, the temperature distribution in a rectangular plate under boundary conditions of the first kind has not been sufficiently studied. This article discusses the problem of finding a temperature field in a rectangular plate under boundary conditions of the first kind. In this paper, a solution is given for the distribution of the temperature field in a plate of infinite length. At the same time, the task itself is stationary. The solution is obtained in the form of a series containing hyperbolic functions using the Fourier method. The reliability of the obtained result is confirmed by the fact that the particular solution coincides with the solution obtained by another author.

Cooling process of an infinite rectangular plate under different boundary conditions

To date, an impressive layer of work has been devoted to the study of heat exchange processes. However, the temperature distribution in a rectangular plate under different boundary conditions has not been sufficiently studied. This article considers the problem of finding a temperature field in a rectangular plate under boundary conditions of the third kind with an adiabatically isolated side. In this paper, based on the Fourier method, a solution for the distribution of the temperature field in a plate of infinite length is obtained. At the same time, the task itself is non-stationary. The solution itself is obtained in the form of a series containing trigonometric and exponential functions. The reliability of the obtained result is confirmed by the fact that one of the special cases leads the problem to a problem with boundary conditions of the first kind, when the surface temperature is constant.

The calculation of the parameters of parts containing non-standard side undercuts during shaping includes the occurrence of a defect of the «corrugation» type

The article considers the calculation of such parameters as deformation, thinning, stresses and the required forming pressure for a non-standard lateral undercut. A solution is proposed to eliminate the defect of the «corrugation» type occurring during the formation of this undercut in the form of the use of a movable clamp. The results are compared with finite element analysis of shaping. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of applying the proposed calculation.

Changing the technological mode of production of products from D16/D16Ch alloys under conditions of large deformations

The technology for the production of semi-finished products from D16 alloy is well studied, there are many technological recommendations for obtaining the required structure and properties of semi-finished products. But there are still borderline situations when the application of the developed recommendations does not give the desired result. Such situations include heat treatment operations in continuous heat treatment lines (when the set time indicators of holding time cannot be achieved), pressing thin-walled profiles with a small cross-sectional area, when the drawing ratio is more than 30 units (the degree of deformation during pressing reaches 90 %). A method is proposed for obtaining the required performance characteristics of thin-walled profiles from D16/D16ch alloys, pressed with an elongation ratio of more than 30 units, by lowering the heating temperature for hardening.

Quality control of repair and balancing of augers of combine harvesters

The purpose of this article is to familiarize the scientific community with the technology of repair and balancing of augers of modern combine harvesters, proposed by a group of researchers of St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences M. A. Novikov. The technology involves the modernization of a stand for balancing augers that is in operation at repair enterprises. The method of research of the object of diagnosis in the laboratory involves four stages. The use of the proposed technology makes it possible to carry out control operations at the workplace, i.e. without dismantling from the harvesting machine, which significantly reduces downtime of expensive combines, increases the accuracy of operations, increases production culture.

The modern approach to management of problems of standardization in mechanical engineering in conditions digitalization

By development of standards it is necessary to consider all the major factors influencing objects of standardization. Information of manufacture has led to revision of existing approaches to management of problems of standardization of productions and development of complex information. By development of standards in these conditions there is a necessity to consider all the major factors influencing objects of standardization. In mechanical engineering special attention the complexes of Uniform system of the electronic design documentation coordinated among themselves and demand Uniform system of the electronic technological documentation. Existing standards do not connect electronic models of products and electronic technological processes in uniform information space and do not consider an opportunity of modern control systems of life cycle of products. In this connection development of standards of Uniform system of the electronic technological documentation, electronic technologies considering application at creation and application of technological processes in view of existence of electronic design models and is offered to their direct communication during creation of electronic technological documents.

Comparative analysis of the foreign and Russian rolled metal markets: analysis of key indicators

The political and economic events of 2020–2022 pose new challenges to national producers of rolled metal, determining the indicators trends in the functioning and development of the industry. The trends in the metal rolling markets of Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany are analyzed. It is established that the functioning of individual national metal rolling markets is not always subject to global trends, and finds an explanation for both a strong internal competitive advantage (geographical factor) and marketing factors (digitalization of the industry).

Application of quadrocopters in fire extinguishing emergency relief and in emergency and rescue operations

Prompt extinguishing and detection of fires makes it possible to avoid numerous victims and financial losses, and therefore, active attention is paid to this issue in any state. For these purposes, autonomous territorial units are diagnosed using advanced technologies, in particular unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They are equipped with a video recording device that transmits current indicators and the situation to the operator's monitor. A larger number of cameras allows you to cover a larger area, while the quality of monitoring and observation by the operator decreases. Based on the foregoing, it seems possible in this article to evaluate from a scientific point of view the aspects of the use of UAVs in the course of fighting fires, eliminating emergencies and emergencies. It should also be noted that it is possible to use UAVs in the future in the workflow of large factories and in man-made accidents, including fire fighting.
