Investigation of internal radial extrusion of a pipe blank.

Part 8. Continued experimental verification of theoretical formulas for extrusion without hardening

A continuation of the experimental verification of theoretical results, begun in the previous article, is outlined. The design and characteristics of the new experimental stamp are described in detail. Studies of extrusion of a non-hardening material – lead C1, simulating hot deformation, are carried out. The high accuracy of the obtained calculation formulas is confirmed.
Keywords: volumetric stamping; radial extrusion; strain; deformations; pipe

Physical parameter of plasticity of a wide class of materials based on yield strength and strength

A physical parameter of plasticity is proposed, based on the yield and strength limits of a wide class of materials, which allows you to analyze and compare structural materials with each other, for proper use in the design of various machines and equipment, and can also be of great importance when carrying out various technological processes, for example, forging and stampings.
Keywords: characterization of brittle-plastic properties of materials; residual relative elongation and narrowing; yield and strength limits; plasticity parameter.

Calculation of sweeps of sheet curved parts using dynamic iterative analysis

The article considers the problem of finding a rational workpiece for parts of an integral shape. A variant of solving this problem based on the reverse solution of a mathematical problem is considered. On the example of two parts containing bypass curvature, it is shown how the problem described above arises with standard approaches to the calculation of the workpiece. Simulation modeling of the processes of forming parts is carried out, taking into account the nonlinearity of the material and its plastic properties. Discrepancies between the sweeps of the inverse method for calculating the sweep and the mathematical geometry of the part (contour mismatch) were revealed. Using an optimization solution based on the discrepancy between the scan contours of the dynamic calculation and the electronic layout, a rational shape of the workpiece was found. This shape of the workpiece allows you to shape the part with minimal deviations from the contour of the electronic layout of the part. Based on the calculations, physical experiments were carried out on industrial equipment and a good correlation of the results was revealed.
Keywords: construction of sweeps based on analysis; shaping; parts containing an aerodynamic bypass.

Increasing the structural strength of the aircraft wing based on the use of metal-polymer composite material

The author presents an engineering methodology for power calculation and design of composite aircraft structures based on the analysis of strength characteristics of metal and metal-polymer composite materials. The result of the work is the calculation of the parameters of the aircraft wing from new materials and the representation of graphical dependencies. The paper uses theoretical and empirical research methods, as well as the results of foreign and domestic scientific materials.

Features of the tool for abrasive flow machу process of aluminum alloys

The paper describes the principle of Abrasive Flow Machine Process (AFM). Relevance of the use AFM for grinding of aircraft details which are made of aluminum alloys and which have complex-surface that are difficult for a tool to access the surface is shown in the paper. The functional features of the using tool (work medium) are explained. The existing compositions of work medium for AFM are considered. The analysis showed that the question of determining the characteristics of a tool for AFM of aluminum alloys is still open. The main requirements for the work medium are formulated according to the study results in this paper.
The purpose of study determines the characteristics of a tool for AFM of aluminum alloys. This allowed us to make recommendations on the choice of components composition for work medium. The methodology of the experiment and used equipment are described. The study was carried out on the equipment simulating the contact interacting of a single abrasive grain with the surface for various types of abrasive grains at different cutting forces. The resulting equation makes it possible to clarify the component composition of a tool for AFM of aluminum alloys. The paper gives the recommendations on the choice of the type of abrasive for AFM of aluminum alloys under various processing conditions.
Keywords: aluminum alloys; abrasive flow machine process; tool; active abrasive grain; equipment; microcutting.

Dynamic chaos in a coupled qubit-photon system field under the driving by electromagnetic pulses

It is studed the unsteady dynamics of a qubit coupled to a single-photon mode in a high-Q resonator. In the steady state, a qubit and a photon form long-lived bound states, which we will call here as a «photon-qubit atom». The stability and chaotic dynamics of this system under the action of short electromagnetic pulses have been studied for the first time. The mode of excitation of a coupled system is considered, in which the classical dynamics of the photon field is realized.
Keywords: quantum computer; Rabi model; qubit; oscillator; photon field; semiclassical approximation.
