The study of combined extrusion of tumblers with a co-bottom part.

Part 17. Methodology for calculating technological parameters of bending extrusion at initial deformation by shear of the central area

The method of calculating the energy-force and deformation parameters of the process of bending extrusion of nozzles with a co-bottom part, starting with a shift in the central area of the workpiece, is described. Extrusion of both non-hardening and hardening materials is considered. In the latter case, the account of the hardening of the extruded material is described in detail. The above formulas make it possible to determine such important parameters of the stamping process as total and specific deforming force, maximum pressure on the die wall, and increase in yield stress.

A simple criterion for the strength and fracture of brittle materials is proposed, which takes into account all three principal stresses and ultimate stresses in uniaxial tension and compression.

Friction accounting in isothermal flanging of blanks with inclined flange

A variant of taking into account contact friction in isothermal flanging of holes in blanks made of anisotropic material is proposed. The relations for the analysis of power modes of the process of flanging of branch pipes with an inclined flange in the mode of viscoplasticity are refined. Dependences of the process force on the friction conditions at the boundary of the tool and the workpiece for a number of aluminum and titanium alloys are given.

Simulation of the technological operation of processing a workpiece fixed in a collapsible fixture

An analysis of the existing state of applicability of ADF in industrial enterprises has been carried out, their advantages compared to special devices are shown. The technical and economic validity of the use of ADF, like USP, is explained by the fact that the cycle of assembling the device from their elements in time is 40... 50 times and in labor intensity 10... 15 times less than the cycle of manufacturing special devices. Comparative studies of the special fixture and ADF on the strength and stability indicators of the «Billet–fixture» set showed positive results. Studies were carried out in computer-aided design systems T-FlexCAD and ANSYS ® Mechanical.

Investigation of the operability of twist drills with a variable angle of inclination of the flutes and evaluation of the drift of the hole axis

In this article, the basics of designing twist drills with variable stiffness have been developed, which allow taking into account the pattern of increasing cutting torque depending on the depth of the hole being machined. On the basis of theoretical studies, a rational geometry of drills with a variable angle of inclination of the chip grooves was found, which allows predicting the accuracy of machining. A regularity has been determined that makes it possible to evaluate the withdrawal of a drilled hole by an axial tool, depending on the angle of inclination of the chip grooves.

Tools for the implementation and operation of the concept of lean manufacturing in an industrial enterprise

In recent years, interest in optimal, and most importantly, effective methods of enterprise management has been growing in Russia. This degree of interest is due to the fact that in our country there are «acute» issues of improving the quality of products (services), reducing production costs, and fighting for a market niche with competitors. The article considers the concept of lean manufacturing (one of the most popular paradigms in the field of waste reduction in the production of goods and services) and describes its main tools. Steps for the implementation and effective use of the 5S system have been formed. It was revealed that order and cleanliness in the workplace, and not «orderly chaos», are the basis of all improvements, productivity and quality in industrial production and other industries. In a clean and orderly environment, defect-free, customer-compliant products and services can be produced and the performance of the applied processes can be realized in accordance with the requirements. To achieve this goal, the considered 5S methodology is used in the concept of lean production.

The relationship of the Industry 4.0 and the concept of lean manufacturing

Competent, and, most importantly, effective production management is currently one of the most important factors in the competitiveness of an enterprise. In line with the ongoing trend of digitalization of the manufacturing industry, a new industrial paradigm called Industry 4.0 is becoming one of the most discussed concepts. A review of the literature on the relationship between the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Lean was made, as well as an analysis of the possibility of complementing each other or, conversely, the impossibility of interaction. In this paper, the most common tools or methods of lean manufacturing have been studied, their usefulness has been studied.
