Optimization of the design of the impeller of a submersible centrifugal pump

This work is devoted to improving the performance of a centrifugal pump by changing the design of the impeller. Theories concerning the characteristics of pumps are studied in detail. The blade profile is modeled in BladeGen software, CFD analysis is performed using a fluid flow simulation package.
Keywords: impeller; impeller analysis; impeller performance; impeller performance; CFD analysis.

Modernization of design solutions for the construction of vertical steel tank bases

All types of physical wear and tear lead to a gradual loss of the object of its consumer value. This, as a rule, causes the following negative consequences: individual consumer and operational characteristics of the object deteriorate; the frequency of its repairs increases; there is a risk of emergency situations. The reason for the wear of objects can be a construction defect, overvoltage of structural elements, overload, temperature deformation, corrosion and other individual drives. It is worth noting that different causes of wear can lead to the same consequences, therefore, during the evaluation of the object for problems, it is necessary to take into account the nature and true causes of wear. This section will provide methods for constructing computational models in the ANSYS environment for analyzing the stress-strain state of an object.
Keywords: reservoir; design; modeling; formation; risk calculation.

Organization of tool production at defense industry enterprises

The demand for independent production of tools at defense industry enterprises is determined by the established practice of import substitution. In the article, the authors present a toolkit for optimizing the need for tools at defense industry enterprises, consisting of a methodology for analyzing manufactured products to determine the need for tools; tool production model, which defines the necessary parameters for adapting the existing production structure in accordance with the developed methodology for selecting equipment for tool production; methods for assessing the reserves of the production structure of tool production, which allows diversifying production with a subsequent increase in the range of manufactured tools.
Keywords: defense industry; diversification of production; tool production; tools; production structure; reserves.

A model of the use of high-precision measuring instruments for monitoring defects in the construction of high-speed highways

The coupling of the wheels of all types of vehicles with a coating is one of the main conditions for ensuring road safety. The road situation on different road sections differs in its properties, the type of road clothing, the placement of the carriageway in the driver's field of view, and so on. A classification of factors influencing the value of the adhesion coefficient has been developed.
Keywords: model; road; coating; application; devices.

Membrane and powder materials in construction

The energy efficiency of the building during the design and further operation is a primary condition in modern residential and public construction. The structural and technological solutions of the coatings must meet the requirements for creating optimal microclimatic conditions of the interior and contribute to minimizing energy costs for maintaining temperature and humidity at a normalized level. Currently, roof structures using profiled steel sheet have become widespread. Coating systems with a bearing base of metal flooring are widely used in the construction of large-area buildings developed in terms of such as shopping and entertainment centers and other public and industrial buildings. Roofing works among other construction works are the least mechanized, therefore the most labor-intensive. Of great importance in the design is the question of choosing the most effective constructive solution of roofs according to thermal and technical and economic indicators. Recently, there has been an active pace of development of the roofing waterproofing market, the introduction of the latest technologies and materials. The market in Russia is represented by a fairly wide range of these products from both foreign and domestic manufacturers.

Network anomaly detection based on the statistical self-similarity factor

The explosion of applications on today's networks is a fundamental threat to network security. Therefore, to improve network performance, it is important to reduce the packet load and thus detect traffic anomalies. Analyzing the Hurst exponent for a given set of data allows us to assess whether they are a random process of pure white noise or have underlying trends. The Hurst parameter is often used in access control and traffic congestion. Therefore, an accurate and fast estimation of the Hurst parameter is of great importance for network control. Statistical data analysis allows you to quantify network behavior and describe network anomalies.
Keywords: anomaly; net; statistics; factor; self-similarity.

Green economy in regional development: problems and solutions

The transition from the traditional model of economic development to a «green» economy is a modern trend that determines the sustainability of the development of the national economy. The «green» economy is the definition of the main vectors focused on the indicators of «green» growth, and taking into account that the transition to a «green» economy requires transparency and clear interaction from all links of one chain otherwise the principles of this model will be violated.
Keywords: «green» economy; region; ecological situation.

Dark pools of liquidity: trends in development and distribution in world markets

The article discusses the features of the existence and functioning of such an institution of the financial market as dark pools of liquidity. The author describes the main goals and principles of operation of dark pools. Based on the dynamics of the development of this institution and trading volumes, it describes the main problems that cause dissatisfaction with the existence of dark pools among many financial market participants and necessitate the improvement of their regulation. The world experience and trends in regulating the activities of dark pools of liquidity are analyzed and the reasons for differences in regulatory systems are identified. Potential problems of regulatory measures implemented to date are described and mechanisms for correcting the activity of dark pools are proposed without significant damage to their existence as a whole.
Keywords: liquidity; enterprise; settlement; structure; development.
