Investigation of internal radial extrusion of a pipe blank.
Part 7. Initial experimental verification of theoretical formulas

The goals of experimental verification of theoretical results are formulated. The characteristics of the tools used, the geometrical parameters of extrusion experiments, the strength characteristics of deformable materials, as well as their lubrication are described in detail. Studies of extrusion of a non-hardening material - lead C00, simulating hot deformation, were carried out. The high accuracy of the obtained calculation formulas is confirmed.
Keywords: volumetric stamping; radial extrusion; strain; deformations; pipe blank.

Analysis of energy conditions of fracture and strength of materials under complex stress state

An analysis of the energy conditions of destruction and strength of materials under a complex stress state is carried out, a new condition for the violation of the strength of materials when only the volume of a deformable element is changed based on the second invariant of the stress tensor, the balance of intensities of total, tangential and normal stresses is shown according to the law of a right triangle or the Pythagorean theorem.
Keywords: volumetric tension; separation; shift; stress intensity; specific potential energy of deformation.

On one technological process of combining casting and deformation of metal products

The principle of operation of a device that implements the idea of a complete combination of the processes of crystallization of liquid metal and its subsequent deformation into a given profile, made in the form of a mold with movable walls - a casting and forging module of a vertical type, is considered. The results of the numerical solution of the thermoviscoplastic problem of billet deformation in the form of temperature distributions and parameters of the stress-strain state are presented.
Keywords: casting and forging module; metal crystallization; mathematical modeling; stress-strain state; crystallizing metal; billet deformation.

Study of the strength of the aircraft wing structure made from composites reinforced with natural fiber

Currently, many countries are actively developing their own aviation production. Other aircraft are being actively designed and created, primarily unmanned aerial vehicles, which are currently essential for combat operations, reconnaissance activities, monitoring forest fires, emergency situations, agriculture, etc. The structural strength of aircraft is a guarantee of safety and reliability in the operation of complex aircraft structures. Ensuring the strength of the structure is an indispensable and indispensable condition for launching an aircraft into mass production. In connection with the foregoing, the author of this article made an attempt to scientific analysis and critical understanding of the methods and technologies for ensuring the strength of the aircraft structure.
Keywords: strength criteria; aircraft design; aircraft manufacturing; composite materials; natural fiber reinforcement; aircraft wing; bending; buckling and vibration.

Simulation modeling of the power plant of aircraft for assessing the state of power supply systems during their testing in the final assembly shop

The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of simulation modeling of the power plant of aircraft for assessing the state of power supply systems during their testing in the final assembly shop. Special attention is paid to modeling the power generation system and the power conversion and distribution system. The situation of failure of the variable frequency generator is also considered.
Keywords: simulation; power plant; generator; current; power.

Investigation of the possibility of using contact spot welding for the formation of high-quality welded joints of high-heat-resistant powder alloy PH25YU6

The mechanical properties of welded joints obtained by contact spot welding, samples of powder ferritic steel PH25YU6 are investigated. Experimental data on the effect of high-temperature heat treatment of welded samples, which significantly affects the strength properties of welded joints of this type of steel, are presented.
Keywords: contact spot welding; heat treatment; powder ferritic steels; mechanical testing; shear force; welded joints.

Investigation of the corrosion resistance of metals, alloys and polymers in chlorine and chlorine-containing environments

Corrosion resistance in highly aggressive environments is a critical problem in a number of industrial applications at high temperatures. This article first briefly describes the situation with partial pressure in some particularly harsh industrial high-temperature environments. At the second stage, the issues of high-temperature corrosion resistance for chlorine-containing media are discussed.
Keywords: chlorine-containing media; aggressiveness of the medium; polymer; alloys; corrosion resistance.

Development of the metal rolling industry in Russian under the sanctions of 2021–2022

The conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine determined the global restructuring of the logistics chains of metallurgical enterprises. The introduction of additional sanctions in 2022 has identified a set of problems for the metal rolling industry in the Russian Federation. The definition of the list of unfriendly countries in relation to Russia had an impact on the structure of production, export and import of rolled metal products. The trends in the development of the industry are determined. Possible forecasts of the industry development are given. It is established that in the conditions of reorientation of the industry to Asian countries, prices for metal products will not decrease.
Keywords: rolled metal; sanctions; hostilities; export; import; trade wars; conflict in Ukraine.
