Investigation of backward-and-forward extrusion of tumblers with a co-bottom part.

Part 20. Methodology for calculating technological parameters at initial deformation by free backward-and-forward extrusion

The method for calculating the energy-power and deformation parameters of the process of free backward-and-forward extrusion of tumblers with a co-bottom part is presented. The extrusion of both non-hardening and hardening materials is considered. In the latter case, the consideration of hardening of the extruded material is described in detail. The above formulas make it possible to determine such important parameters of the stamping process as the total and specific deforming force, the maximum pressure on the die wall, and the increase in yield stress.
Keywords: forging; tumblers with the co-bottom part; backward-and-forward extrusion; stresses; deformations.

Determination of the temperature field of a thermoelectric element in the form of a plate in the two-dimensional case in a non-stationary mode

To date, many works have been devoted to the study of heat transfer processes. In particular, non-stationary processes and methods of temperature measurement are of particular scientific interest. The peculiarity of these processes is the continuous change in the heat content of bodies and their associated heating or cooling. In this article, the question of finding the temperature field of a rectangular thermoelectric element under boundary conditions of the third kind with an adiabatically isolated side is considered. Based on the Fourier method, a solution for the distribution of the temperature field of the thermo-element is obtained. The solution itself is obtained in the form of a series containing trigonometric and exponential functions. The reliability of the obtained result is confirmed by the fact that one of the frequent cases leads the problem to a problem with boundary conditions of the first kind, when the surface temperature is constant. The presented analysis of the main characteristics of thermoelectric converters makes it possible to determine the criteria for selecting materials and temperature conditions in order to increase the efficiency of such converters. It is also shown that the main factors determining the heat transfer process under these conditions are: the coefficient of thermal conductivity and the coefficient of thermal conductivity.
Keywords: heat transfer; temperature field; thermoelectric element; non-stationary mode; thermal conductivity; Fourier method; boundary conditions of the third kind.

Heat exchanger design according to turbine parameters

The article presents a design calculation of a heat exchanger, which is intended for use in the process of exhaust gas regeneration and is used in structures that use high-temperature liquid and gaseous media, such as an aircraft gas turbine engine. Due to its characteristics such as high pressure and high temperature, the heat exchanger is able to convert waste heat into exhaust gases. It is proposed in the article the option of using the energy of the exhaust gases of an engine due to a heat exchanger of a special design. The main work is to calculate the actual state of the power and thermal characteristics of the heat exchanger using the parameters of the gas turbine engine to improve performance with heat recovery. The designed heat exchanger consists of a bundle of tubes fixed on two tubular plates and carrying a certain number of baffles.
Keywords: heat exchanger; calculation method; design; heat exchanger design; tube shell; heat exchange efficiency.

Changing the surface of CrNi65MWU steel depending on different annealing modes

This article deals with the influence of different annealing modes of stainless corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel steel grade CrNi65MWU, used for operation in aggressive environments at high temperatures. The issues of creating a protective oxide film on the surface of this steel are considered. The microhardness of the surface of the selected steel was measured after various annealing modes: with different heating temperatures and holding times, and dependences of the effect of annealing modes on the surface microhardness were obtained. The paper also considers the issue of the effect of pre-machining of steel on its properties.
Keywords: stainless steel; annealing of steel; CrNi65MWU steel; oxide film; increased corrosion resistance; change in microhardness; steel surface structure.

Improvement of the design of recuperative heat exchanger due to application of internal grooves on the heat exchange surface

Within the framework of this work, the issue of increasing the efficiency of heat exchange equipment due to the intensification of heat transfer is considered. The intensity of heat transfer can be increased by flow turbulence, i.e. by increasing the inner surface of the heat exchange equipment by applying internal grooves. In this work, an experimental recuperative heat exchanger of the "pipe in pipe" type was manufactured and introduced into the refrigeration unit. In this apparatus, due to the cutting of the helical groove, the inner heat exchange surface is increased. The cutting mode was calculated. Using the software, a comparison was made of the operation of the refrigeration machine with and without a recuperative heat exchanger. The practical benefit of using this device to increase the productivity of the equipment is shown. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn on the use of a recuperative heat exchanger as one of the ways to improve the efficiency of the refrigeration machine.

Development of a methodology for qualitative assessment of the manufacturability of the design of a mechanical engineering product based on the initial production data in the form of an electronic model

This paper presents a method for a qualitative assessment of the manufacturability of a product design (TCI) based on an electronic model of a product. This technique allows the use of digital production data for the evaluation of TKI. The formalization of the necessary data for evaluating a structural element of a machine-building product of the «pocket» type in the required form is carried out, and mathematical expressions are obtained for evaluating TCI using set theory and logic algebra.
Keywords: manufacturability; manufacturability of the product design; qualitative assessment of the manufacturability of the product design; database; production-frame model of knowledge; frame.

Formation of prices for connection of industrial facilities to the networks of communal resources of the region

The article discusses the issues of pricing for the connection of industrial facilities to the networks of communal resources of the regions of Russia. Based on the analysis of regulatory and legislative support, an overview description of the procedure for setting tariffs for technical connection to electricity, gas, heat, water supply and sanitation networks is presented. A comparative analysis of calculated pricing indicators based on base rates for three regions of the Volga Federal District is given.
