Methodology for calculating the angle of inclination of the movable clamp in the technology of shaping undercuts

An analysis of the need for solutions in sheet stamping until 2035 is given. The data of such analytical firms as Kommersant-Daily, PricewaterhouseCoopers, AUTOSTAT, as well as information from the United Aircraft Corporation are presented. All this information indicates an increasing need for sheet stamping until 2035. The article considers the problem of finding the jamming parameter for the technology of forming with a movable clamp, which is an important aspect in obtaining parts with undercut elements. The proposed technique is based on differentiating the cross-section function of the profile of the movable clamp, finding the first extremum, the abscissa of the range of extremes, angle analysis. Then, using inverse trigonometric functions, the angles of inclination were calculated. This technique has been tested on two movable clamps and a universal formula for finding the angle depending on the function of the profile of the movable clamp has been derived. The conclusion is made about the applicability of this technique for parts with undercuts and forming technology with movable clamps.

Temperature distribution in a hollow body of elliptical section under boundary conditions of the first and third kind

In this paper, the problem of heat transfer is solved for a hollow elliptical cylinder, taking into account the asymmetry of heat transfers on surfaces. In this case, the boundary conditions are boundary conditions of the first and third kind. In this paper, a solution is given for the distribution of the temperature field in a field with an elliptical cross-section under boundary conditions of the third kind. The solution is obtained by considering equidistant surfaces.

High-energy methods of manufacturing refractory materials and products based on them

It has been established that the most rational and economically justified is the introduction of several devices in the product manufacturing process by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis, press-assemblies made according to the operational affiliation principle: for compacting briquettes from exothermic powder mixture, for compacting synthetic product in combustion mode, for deforming synthesis product, however, in some cases, the last two devices can be combined. A method for manufacturing carbide blanks in the SHS-barothermy mode is proposed, which includes densification of the synthetic product in the combustion mode and deforming the synthesis product.

Design of nickel wire manufacturing technology based on mathematical modeling

A mathematical model of repeated drawing of nickel wire in monolithic dies has been developed. To predict the mechanical properties of the finished wire and reliably estimate the energy-power parameters of the drawing process, the dependences of changes in tensile strength, yield strength and relative elongation on the degree of deformation for nickel grade NP2 were determined experimentally. The presented mathematical model will be useful in designing technologies for the production of nickel wire that meets the requirements of GOST 2179–2015 and DIN 17753.

Validation of a method for organizing knowledge when predicting the properties of products made of cast iron with vermicular graphite

A designed semantic network is presented that displays factual knowledge about the dependencies of the physical and mechanical properties of cast iron with vermicular graphite on the initial chemical composition of cast iron and modifiers, casting methods and modification methods, and structural parameters of casting. Using production models, forecasting rules were generated and then implemented using the CLIPS programming language. The principle of organizing and forming a knowledge base is presented, the implementation of which allows you to reduce costs and time, as well as improve the quality of designing products made of composite materials with the required set of properties.

Research in the field of maintenance of hinges of non-equal angular velocities of driveshafts of cars (part 2)

Based on the analysis of scientific papers, dissertations, patents and GOST standards, the article reveals the design features of cardan shafts, including their hinges of unequal angular velocities (hereinafter referred to as "hinges"). It was also found that the existing instructions contain some contradictions on the methods of performing maintenance (maintenance) of the products in question. The design of a driveshaft containing an assembly unit in the form of a hinge assembly is proposed, which ensures the performance of maintenance without dismantling the driveshaft from the car.
