Investigation of backward-and-forward extrusion of tumblers with a co-bottom part.

Part 23. Methods for calculating changes in force during extrusion

Methods for calculating the change in force during the extrusion of tumblers with the co-bottom part are outlined. The extrusion of a hardening material is considered. The construction of graphs of changes in the deforming force along the course for extrusion cases intended for subsequent experimental testing is described in detail.

Investigation of the stress concentration of the edge semicircular notch using the functions of a complex variable

The work is devoted to the measurement of stresses. For a preliminary assessment of the probability of failure, it is necessary to know the degree of deformation in the dangerous sections and the realized scheme of the stress state. In this article, an analytical method is proposed for studying the stress concentration in the vicinity of the marginal semicircular notch. Using the methods of complex variable functions, the expression of the distribution of the components of the stress tensor in the vicinity of this cavity was obtained.

Derivation of the working formula for bending the rod by the method of resistance of materials

The work is devoted to the issues of determining the stress state. It examines the process of bending the rod. As you know, bending rods is an important phenomenon in engineering that occurs when forces act on the road. The article provides a conclusion of the working formula for bending the rod by the method of resistance of materials.

Influence of phase composition on strength and plasticity properties of titanium alloys at different heat treatment

The relationship between the microstructure and mechanical characteristics of titanium alloys VT6 and PT-3V under various types of heat treatment has been studied. It has been shown that the phase composition of titanium alloys obtained after heat treatment plays a significant role in the formation of mechanical characteristics. β-annealing can change the structure of alloys from globular to lamellar and reduce the plasticity characteristic by more than 2 times. An analysis of the relationship between the phase compositions of titanium alloys and changes in their mechanical characteristics was carried out. The distribution of phase stabilizers (aluminum and vanadium) among the structural components of the alloy microstructure and their relationship with the phase composition has been studied.

Investigation of the structure of alumopenocomposite obtained by the introduction of titanium hydride (TiH2) and silicon carbide (SiC) into the alloy by powder metallurgy

In the work the authors present the results of studies of the microstructure, mechanical characteristics and density of foamed aluminum alloy with the addition of 20 % SiC as a reinforcing component and stabilizer, obtained by introducing titanium hydride (TiH2) into the alloy as a powder metallurgy method. The advantages, disadvantages and prospects for the use of aluminum foam composites in such areas as the automotive, aerospace and mechanical engineering for the manufacture of various elements and structures, structural elements, lightweight structures, energy-absorbing elements, mechanical, vibration and sound insulating elements, filters, design elements, reinforcing elements and heat exchanger elements.

Additive technologies in modern industry: application and prospects on the example of titanium alloys

Additive manufacturing, including 3D-printing, is an innovative manufacturing method that rethinks traditional methods of making parts. An overview of materials and methods used in additive manufacturing is presented, with an emphasis on titanium alloys. The specifics of using additive methods for forming parts from titanium alloys are described. The main research results related to additive manufacturing and the use of AM technologies to create parts from titanium alloy Ti6Al4V are presented. The possibilities of improving the performance characteristics of parts through the use of additive technologies are noted.

Automation of technological preparation of production is a modern area of information technology that ensures the technological readiness of production systems (sites, workshops, enterprises) to produce high-quality products within a given time frame. This scientific article discusses the main advantages of software products of the SPRUT-Technology company, namely such programs as SPRUT-TP – a system for automated writing of technological processes and standardization, and SprutCAM – a system for automated development of control programs for CNC machines.
